Getting an Accurate Monthly Payment
When you're calculating the monthly budget for your new home, don't forget to include:
- HOA payments (Some homes have more than 1)
- Mortgage Insurance (This is common if you put down less than 20%)
- Property Taxes (Depending on your city, they vary usually +/-1% in Phoenix Metro Area)
- Utility Costs (Water, Gas, Sewer, Electric, Trash, etc...)
- Maintenance (Depending on the age and condition of the home this can vary greatly)
- Land Lease (Although this is not very common, there are homes sitting on leased land)
